I don't want to play games or get involved in drama. I just want some adult companionship [and no this doesn't mean I am looking for sex] with someone that has similar interests. Someone that I can talk to and share my day to day life with. I want the real deal... I believe in letting things go where they are meant to go. I am not going to try and "make" something happen. It either happens naturally or it isn't meant to be. Every relationship whether as lovers or friends takes love, respect and commitment but it shouldn't have to be forced. I guess I just want to get to know you and see what the end result turns out to be. Maybe we will be great friends, maybe we will fall in love, or maybe we will find out we cant stand one another. But at least we will see. Have fun, live life and never look back with regrets! That being said a little about me... I am a single mother. My kids are my world and they come first. I live a somewhat hectic life in the man made rat race of the world we know and love... I am a very goal oriented woman who isn't afraid to go after what I want out of life. I am not shy or into playing games. I am a laid back, easy going person. I love to have fun and think it is important to be light hearted and not take life too seriously. I love to dance, bowl, go to concerts, laugh with friends, enjoy fine wines and exotic ethnic foods...I am not a thrill seeker but will try most anything once...as long as it doesn't involve death defying stunts. I think that I want to make this life count for something and I want to die one day knowing I lived with no regrets and few dull moments... I am back in school pursuing a degree in nursing and I currently work in a health-care system as a Coordinator of Operations which boils down to mid level management for a non-clinical department. I love my job but want to get into caring for the patients as an ER or ICU Trauma nurse. As long as I have good company even watching paint dry can be fun! ****it's not the activity that determines the enjoyment but the company you keep*** I believe in letting nature take its course and following my heart. The mind tends to over analyze at times and I am analytical by nature so please excuse me if I am caught sizing up the situation....that's just me. I am also a published writer and in my spare time [when inspired] you can catch me jotting down lines on a napkin or whatever is handy. I hope to one day have a book published and more of my poetry as well. I have a big heart and I love to take care of those I love and care about. I spend a lot of time taking care of others and have to remind myself to take time for me. I love to cook and I am very good at it. I believe that any good relationship whether it be with a friend or lover must be built on mutual respect and trust. I am a very selfless, optimistic, and positive person. In the past I have encountered several people who are negative and insecure...I don't care to have those type of people in my life. In a man I am looking for someone who is goal oriented, intelligent, self sufficient, attractive and confident. I want someone who knows who they are, what they want and isn't afraid to pursue their dreams. I am an independent woman and I know what I want out of life so it is important that you do also. I hate to have to be so blunt but it seems the vast majority of men I have encountered fall into the same category...That being said, I am not looking for random sex partners, one night stands, friends with benefits or married men who want to have an affair behind their wives backs...If that is you dont waste my time or yours...just move on to the next profile. I have standards and like to keep my self respect and dignity intact.

Am looking for that special man, that someone when I am not with him, I'm thinking of him. That someone when we are apart, I know I am on his mind as well as he knows he is on mine. Someone to call and talk to all night like school kids when you're bored and just feel like talking, even when you don't have much to say. Someone I know I could count on and be there for me when i just need a friend, and he would know I would be there for him... I am looking for a friend that could be so much more....
